Thank you, Brittany

IMG_4206 (1)Brittany Frazier Price recently stepped down from her role as Sponsorship Director. We are incredibly grateful for her service on the executive committee.

As one of HCIC’s founding members, Brittany played an integral part in establishing this organization. Her background in anthropology and archaeology helped us better work with people from a different culture. Brittany established the sponsorship program, and under her leadership, all of the orphans were matched with a sponsor. She also connected the children and sponsors by establishing means of correspondence. She lent expertise and a keen editing eye while we drafted our policies and procedures. Brittany also created and managed our website and organized fundraising events. It is quicker to write about what Brittany didn’t do for HCIC.

HCIC Chair Kay Alden noted first and foremost Brittany’s heartfelt care for the children. Couple that with a fantastic work ethic, and you have an invaluable asset. Kay described, “Whenever there was an issue, Brittany responded in minutes with her complete focus and great attention to detail. She doesn’t let anything slip by.”

Brittany, we appreciate your outstanding contributions to the children and HCIC. We will miss you.
